Set Business Hours with Timezone Support

Configure per-day open and close times with timezone-aware scheduling.

Business hours control when your campaign accepts inbound calls. Calls that arrive outside your configured hours are handled with an after-hours message and a callback is created automatically.

Steps

    Open your campaign

    Go to Campaigns and click the campaign you want to configure.

    Find Business Hours settings

    Scroll to the Business Hours section on the campaign detail page.

    Set the timezone

    Select the timezone for this campaign (e.g., America/New_York). All open and close times are evaluated in this timezone, regardless of where the caller or server is located.

    Set hours for each day

    For each day of the week, set the Open and Close times using 24-hour format (e.g., 08:00 to 17:00).

    To mark a day as closed (no calls accepted), leave the day unset or toggle it off.

    Save

    Click Save. The business hours are now active. SureConnect will check the current time against these hours for every inbound call.

If you do not configure business hours, the campaign accepts calls 24/7.

How timezone-aware scheduling works

SureConnect converts the current UTC time to your campaign's configured timezone before comparing against open/close times. A campaign set to Eastern time (America/New_York) correctly handles daylight saving time transitions automatically.
