Publisher Quickstart — Go Live in 15 Minutes

A condensed guide for new publishers: connect Twilio, create a campaign, add a tracking number, invite your first agent, and test.

This is the fast-track guide for new publishers. Follow these steps to go from a fresh SureConnect account to a live campaign receiving calls in under 15 minutes.

What you need before starting

  • A SureConnect admin account (register at the homepage if you do not have one).
  • A Twilio account — sign up here if you do not have one.
  • A credit card on file with Twilio (required to purchase phone numbers).

Part 1: Connect Twilio (~5 minutes)

    Get your Twilio credentials

    Log in to the Twilio Console. Copy your Account SID and Auth Token from the dashboard.

    Create a Twilio API Key

    In the Twilio Console, go to Account > API keys & tokens. Click Create API Key, select Standard, and click Create.

    Copy the SID (starts with SK) and Secret immediately — the Secret is only shown once.

    Enter credentials in SureConnect

    Log in to SureConnect. Go to Settings. In the Twilio section, enter your Account SID and Auth Token. Click Connect.

    Then enter your API Key SID and API Key Secret. Click Auto-Setup Voice SDK. SureConnect will automatically create a TwiML App and configure everything.

Part 2: Create your first campaign (~3 minutes)

    Create a campaign

    Go to Campaigns and click Create Campaign.

    • Name — e.g., "Auto Insurance — National"
    • Target Number — A fallback number (your cell or office line)
    • Payout Per Call — e.g., $25.00
    • Min Call Duration — e.g., 30 seconds

    Click Create.

    Add a tracking number

    In your campaign, scroll to Tracking Numbers. Click Add Tracking Number and select a Twilio number. SureConnect auto-configures all webhooks.

    If you need to purchase a number first, go to Settings > Twilio section to buy one by area code.

Part 3: Add an agent and route calls (~3 minutes)

    Create an agent

    Go to Agents and click Create Agent. Enter the agent's name, phone, and email. Click Create. Copy the invite link and send it to them.

    Create a routing rule

    Go back to your campaign. Scroll to Routing Rules. Click Add Routing Rule.

    • Name — e.g., "Route to All Agents"
    • Distribution Mode — Priority
    • Agents — Select the agent you just created

    Click Save.

Part 4: Test (~2 minutes)

    Verify the agent is online

    Ask your agent to click their invite link, set up their account, and log in. When their softphone shows Available, you will see them as "Online" in your dashboard.

    Make a test call

    Call your tracking number from any phone. The call should ring in the agent's browser. After the call, it will appear in your campaign's call log.
